-
You should not:
-
Ask for help by direct messaging an admin (and especially not when the task could be done by everyone). That even includes deity requests (every admin will most likely know everything that any other admin knows)! Please always use the #player-admin-help channel in the discord. We know, some of you might think it takes less time to get help by dming your favorite admin, but keep in mind, said admin might be busy or just already on their limits. We don’t want some admins to burn out while others still have a lot of capacities. That way the whole team can stay informed and help you as quickly as possible while using their capacities in the most efficient way. We are all not monsters and are very approachable.
-
Go out-of-character (OOC) in-game voice chat at any given time (for example: "did you see the game last night on tv?").

-
NPC’s
Non-Player Characters are predefined roles to fulfill certain tasks (throw away characters like traders, bandits, loot goblins, etc.), to drive lore (guides, villains, etc.) or to provide meta-resources (ambassadors, sages, oracles, etc.). Those players will work together with the admin team very closely. It is a very good opportunity for new players to get familiar with RP, for old players do something new (like if they need to take a break from their characters or just to see how it is to provide events). Also, an excellent way to find new potential admins. Admins will play NPCs if needed.
NPC’s will always have a “[N]” or “[NC]” in their names!
Some of the NPCs will be so-called “Homunculi”, human-like servants of the deities without their own will.
-
You should not:
-
Kill a Homunculi.
-
Harm a Homunculi.
-
Rob a Homunculi.
-
Imprison a Homunculi.
-
Those actions will very likely be punished by the respective deity!

-
If you did not log on within 3 consecutive days and you are a leader or co-leader.

-
We catch you only standing/sitting/laying around afk all the time or just too often.
-
You don’t respond and return even when you notified your leadership or the admin team.
-

-
You are not considered inactive:
-
If you notify your leader or co-leader about your upcoming absence.
-
If you are a leader or co-leader and you notify the admin team about your upcoming absence.
(make sure there is always someone in charge and a proxy available, such as co-leaders or co-co-leaders).
-
Inactive leadership will be removed after warning!
Leaders are allowed to remove inactive players from their tribes with the permission of the admin team. That includes removing their buildings and bodies (will be treated as permadeath by “death in sleep”) and taking their animals and belongings.

Soul Disruption
Characters who die will be revived by their respective deity. If the character was killed with bad intentions (pvp) then it will cost the deity some Faith to do so and the soul of the player will get disrupted, otherwise it happens under the soul protection of deities and no soul disruption will occur. Deaths during events count towards soul disruption unless otherwise stated by the admin team. Soul treatment can only be given once per hour to the same player!
-
1st death: minor soul disruptions (cost 1 Faith), must be healed by adepts or scholars within 24 hours.
-
2nd death without treatment in 24 hours: critical soul disruption (cost 2 Faith), can be healed by scholars only within 3 hours.
-
3rd death without treatment in 3 hours: the soul has been shattered (Permadeath).
-
You have to:
-
Report your death in the discord channel #death-report if soul disruption occurs.
-
Permadeath
Means your character has been permanently killed and there is no way to revive that character ever again. In this case, you will have to roll a new character. Permadeath is not supposed to be abused. That means if the admin team has the impression that a Perma Death only happened for OOC reasons, we will preserve ourselves the right to step in.

Your soul gets shattered through soul disruption.

You lose a trial by combat.

No faction can be assaulted upon twice in 24 hours. (for example; Highland kingdom cannot be declared assaulted upon by both Pirates and Mountain Tribes within 24 hours.)
